Default Power Mirror Conversion

Hi, I have manual mirrors on my camaro, and I recently broke my mirror trying to fix it. I was wondering how hard it would be to convert it into a power mirror setup for both mirrors.

I know I would need the power mirror assembly for both sides, and the switch. Would I need anything else other than the fuse and wires?

I'd expect that your wiring would already be in the car. Do you have a spare socket at the switch in the door and at each of the mirrors? (The spare at the mirrors could be tucked behind the door panel.)

I know it took a while, but I finally was able to take my door panel off, and there was no extra plugs or wires inside of my door. I am having a hard time finding a replacement mirror under $50.

Do you have power windows or locks? If so, do you have another socket where those switches are in the door?

$50 sounds like a good price to me. If you are looking at doing the whole job for under $150 for both sides, you should probably abandon your quest.

Yea, it sounds like you'll need a different harness or will need to run your own wires. Unless you are changing your mirror positions a lot, it may not be worth it.
