Default My big cam V

Here are a couple of vids of my nasty V. Haa. Tell me what you think. Tune is still plenty conservative at 11.8 wot AFR, and 25 degrees of wot timing. Thanks

Idle vid- microphone sux on my camera. Sounds very ballsy in person

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slb_pHwdM50

25-109mph. Pardon my granny shifting, I was holding the camera with my other hand

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLE_wtiK3Ws

Time to throw a 150 shot at it.

Nice! Sounds like the HPE S-cam! What the specs? What other mods? What exhaust?

And granny shifting? Didnt look like you did too bad to me considering you were holding the camera in the other hand... lol

Dude, that sounds awesome! I think i might even like that better than corsa! I think corsa might have a little more aggressive sound at idle only because its louder but on the throttle, the mag keeps the deep throaty sound and the corsa gets kind of raspy. The mag and the B&B actually sound quite similar...

Holding the camera with the other hand... What other hand? U got three of em? Pretty nice shifting though really. Especially for our soft diff's. Couldn't notice any wheel hop in the vid. U still get hop?

You must have heard a different Corsa then I have heard because I always thought that Corsa was whisper quiet (basically stock-like) at idle, and the only time it was loud was when you were at WOT, and then it sounds way loud and way too metallic and raspy for my tastes. I agree with the Kooks/Magnaflow combo, that sounds the best over all of the RPMs, in my opinion.

Corsa is loud with kooks and no cats but its like that raspy sound. With stock headers and cats, its almost silent at idle like the magnaflow but a little louder and higher pitched under throttle.

I think ill just quit bitching and plan on running kooks, no cats and magnaflow when i get my HPE stage 2 heads and HPE S-cam next month. Might be a bit before i can afford the kooks but ill do cutouts at that time too.

He has a custom Magnaflow catback with Kooks and no cats. It is essentially a Magnapack setup. He posted a vid a while when he first installed the new mufflers into his existing c/b. Unless I am thinking of someone else.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate your nice comments. Its taken a lot of work to get it where it is now. I need to port my throttle body, and build a custom CAI since Im still using my stock intake. The drivabilty is still awesome for such a large cam on 346ci. Its a pleasure to drive too. I also like pulling up to people at the stop light as they give me that very confused look. Here is a list of my mods...

UUC aluminum flywheel
Kooks ceramic coated 1 3/4" LTs
Off road mid pipes
Magnaflow catback with magnaflow 14416 mufflers
TSP Magic Stick 3 cam 237/242 .603"/.609" 113 LSA
PRC Gold double springs with retainers, etc
Comp cam 7.4 chromemoly pushrods
And a mild tune for now

Kooks/Magnaflow even sounds the best WITH cats and no cam (although the cam only makes things better!)
