Blinkers not working at all
Hello, I'm hoping I can get some help figuring out what the hell is going on with my car now. I was driving around and they were working great all day. But after about an hour of driving I noticed my blinkers were not working. It's not that a bulb is out because I know it would just stop the blinkers from actually blinking and just freeze on my cluster. This is different. My blinkers don't even light up on my cluster nor do they work front or back. They just simply stoped working in total. My hazards work fine. I checked all fuzes and they all seem fine. Anyone have any recommendations as what it could be? I'm guessing an electrical short. Hoping it's not because I know how expensive that can turn out to be. I'm have one problem after another with this car. I'm about ready to trade it in for a new 2010 SS. Any help is appricated! Thanks in advance
by the way it's a 2000 SS Camaro

I'd agree with the last two posts: Turn Signal Switch (Contactor) under the dash. Mine acted like the signals were shorting out for about two weeks then Monday I found they didn't work at all. Dropped the under-dash piece and the Switch was right in front of me next to the OBDII port. Hardest part was getting the "christmas tree" pins that hold the plastic piece out :-)

The flasher is a thermal unit, so if its boarderline, it will start to act up the longer you drive and the more it heats up.
The catch is that most chain parts stores won't have the right model - you may have to find a NAPA or something like that.
I'd say its 99% the flasher. If not, its definitely the blinker fluid...
