Default Bad Apple ready for the new season

LOL. Did some work on Matts truck which consisted of getting rid of the old tranny setup. Here is what we did.

Stage 5+ FLT tranny with transbrake
Circle D multi disk converter
Bigger tranny cooler with Fan
Switch to 3 bar SD tuning (was 2 bar)
LPE- launch control

We agreed to not boost the hell out of it and tuned it with 93 octain with the help of an Alky control dual nozzle kit.

Happy to say the new tranny/converter combo is alot better. The 2-step/transbrake is awesome.Holds an easy 6-8lbs on launch at 2800rpm.
This is totally a street vehicle.Been very reliable throughout the years.

Here is the graph.

The Bad Apple is a work of art. To make a truck that fast and streetable is just bad ***. I cant wait to see it in action ! Is the bad apple going to be there on Dyno Day ?

Great job, look forward to seeing it. Matt must be pumped.
Circle D is supposed to make some good converters and you know FLT is a win.

I'm surprised with how many years we have on this setup and still runs great.Looking for some good times this spring with it.Then if it makes the year we will turn the boost to 20psi in the fall.

On a side note,I have a sweet 68 Firebird here getting tuned.Tuning in a 572ci bigblock running FI and a manual valve body 4L80.

Truck is crazy and quieter than just about any aftermarket exhaust. its pretty much silent around idle for a truck that can drag street bikes
