Exclamation New 02 Slave Cylinder & 02 Master Cylinder, Pedal Still Sticks at Full Throttle

I got a 2000 transam, just put a slave and master cylinder in because the pedal was sticking under full throttle shift, but its doing the same thing now after the parts were replaced. clutch chirps 3rd on stock transam. so im pretty sure its not the clutch. i bleed it 3 different ways, clutch has good pressure and engages right off the floor

Have you read the Sticky posts on the drill mod?

Is the return helper spring still installed on your clutch pedal?

i have been told by a sponser that you do not need to drill the newest design master. i know people that shift fine wide open with an unmolested master. are you bleeding traditionally or with a vac or speed bleeder?

Put a mity vac on the cap and pull 15in vacuum. Then pump the pedal a few times slowly. Should take care of your problems.

Well, if you really want to solve the problem:

http://www.tick-performance.com/tick...aulics/#master

Installed it along with my LS7 clutch.

My buddy had a ls6 clutch doing the same thing with 70,000 miles on it. He replaced the slave and the pedal still dropped. The clutch seemed to grab and he thought it couldn't be that. He came across a deal on a Spec 3 that he couldn't pass up and he installed it expecting the pedal to still drop. He did the drill mod before the new clutch but it still didn't fix it. After the Spec went in it was perfect. The new clutch along with the drill mod should fix it. Good luck man!
