Looks good. Where did you get them from? Any mods done to the stock fog housing, or were they a direct fit?

was not direct fit. i bored the stock housing so it would fit. drilled two small holes on each side of the metal bracket that the housing attaches to. then used zip ties to temporarily hold in place.

Is the light output usable or just for appearance only?

leds can be used for their lighting performance but they get hot quick and will fail relatively fast if on to long and don't have a proper cool down period. Escalade Platinum editions have LED headlights, same with some newer model Audis (no i'm not talking about the led turn signal strip)

WRONG....BRO...Some led's make so much heat its unbelievable. For instance, ONE Luxeon led REQUIRES a heatsink.
But on second thought, I guess thats cause it doesn't generate heat, right, bro?

but the OP said it was a smd bulb so hes got nothing to worry about, you could hold that in your hand all day. not some 1 watt or higher luxeon or rebel led. to the OP, they look great. they look to match your hids perfectly.

which would make no sense why they would make and automotive led that gets really hot. im sure they use them all the time huh?
i just wasnt very descriptive i ment that if you bought an led for a car its not going to be a ****** laser... they wont make them so they'll melt stuff or they wouldnt even sell!
