The best I've gone is 11.2@122mph w/ a 1.58 sixty foot. Race weight should be approximately 3700lbs, car is lowered and is on 17" TTMs.

Yes weight is definitely the enemy and it's winning! lol. My car has a set of TEA 243s w/ a 230/230 cam, 12 bolt w/ 3:73s, PT4000 and the usual boltons. Do you know if I could pick up a tenth or two by switching to some drag wheels/tires? I'm sure my heavy rims and low profile tires aren't doing me any favors.

Yeah that'd be nice to say...yeah I have a 10 sec DD w/ a child seat in the back...haha. Was contemplating throwing a 100 shot at it too and see how far down in the 10's it'll go but then I'm like, do I really want to walk to work? lol

Yeah I'm not even legal for the speed I'm going now let alone trying to go faster. The only safety item I have is the driveshaft loop. I think to run quicker than 11.5s you need a 5 or 6 point cage right? I guess it really picks up once you start running quicker than 10.0s.

That should put me at low 10's... Looking for 9's in the feature, not bad for a street car…

Well good luck on your 9 sec goal....not sure how long that shortblock will hold up but I'm sure one you put a forged bottom end in you'll have that added piece of mind.
