Default 339rwhp and 1/4 time

Dynod 339hp and 335Tq, Just want to get some input on what to expect. Have all free mods plus whats in my sig.. No headers etc. If i cut 1.7 60fts what 1/4 could i expect?? I know my #'s are not that good for a cam car but. High stall+no ls6intake+no headers+no pulley+no tunning i think they are good.Shift points are set at 6400rpm.

First of all, I think you could do at least a 1.6 60' assuming you have good tires. With that in mind, I think you should be somewhwere in the 12.1-12.2 range given decent track conditions (traction, DA, etc.). My 6 speed car did a 12.1 with a 1.70 60' time and it has 342hp and 354 on torque. I would say you should be right there with your automatic.

It should get you into the low 12s. If you could possibly get into the 1.6s you could even see some high 11s. My 94 lt1 made 345 rwhp and ran 12.01 @ 113.5 with a 1.67 60'. Raceweight was between 3650 and 3690.

I agree with all the above. The times in my sig were run with 330 rwhp. I have dyno tuned it now that is why you see 365 in sig.

Especially with you running a 3500 stall I think you should easily be low 12's maybe even an 11.xx.

This past weekend I went to the track and couldn't get under a 2.0 60'. My best pass was a 12.8 @ 111. I think I should have been running maybe a 12.5 with a 1.8 60'. Do you think I might be able to get a 11.99 with a 4:10 gear, a good tune, and better traction?

I dropped 2-10s by going from 3.42s to 4.10s.With LS1edit and a low 1.70 60ft, it would be close. Good luck!

My 94 lt1 A4 weighs in at 3650 also.

I put down 280 rwhp.
I had a 1.87 60' with 17psi Nitto Drags and ran a best of 13.54 @ 101.8...

Is my car broken??? Why does your car trap 12 mph higher with only 65 more groundpound? Shouldn't I be trapping at 105+ ?

Thanks Dave

You will be somewhere in the 12s for sure. I ran 12s with the same things you have minus the cam.

I would think under 12.5. I'm sure you'll be able to tell where your at by your MPH, but your ET will all depend on the first 60'. I was trapping at 112, which proved that my HP was there but my 60' were not. I learned that's where it's all at man... Those first 60' of the race. Good luck.

I wouldn't say your car is broken. Alot depends on the weather conditions as well as altitude of the track. My quickest passes were made in ideal conditions,(45-50 degrees)at an almost sea level track. My mph would fluctuate anywhere from 109 in the summer to that 113.78 which was achieved at 2 different tracks, in good weather. When I was making 271 rwhp with just boltons, I would trap anywhere from 101 in the heat, to 104 in good air.
