That looks pretty damn cool, cuts out a lot of money. Do you think you may need some adjustment up and down on that bushing?

I made it for stock height, and drilled another set of holes to move it up 3/4". You could make it more adjustable by drilling more holes, easy to do later on if you wanted. I'll take some installed pics and post them tonight.

Thats a mighty nice damed piece of work there! Looks too stiff to be factory, but very clean for the overall apperance. Nice work!

It's a factory crossmember, I just added the 1/4"plate, bushing holder and round tubing support. The 1/4" plate is overkill, I would just do 3/16" next time. The stock crossmember metal is 1/8" throughout.

If that was directed towards me, I recognize the factory piece/portion of it. Throw a few coats of good rust-resistant paint on it or por-15 or something?

13,000 miles on this car. I just threw a couple of coats of flat black over the new part and where I sanded to weld. The rest of the car is in the same condition, pretty much rust free, which makes it a pleasure to work on.

LOL, 13K miles. . . I've squeezed that out in the past 7 months on the new cam If the rest of your car is as clean as that work, you won't want to look under my Z. Great work.
