WTT my m6 for a4
ive got an 02 m6, wanting to trade everything from tranny, to harness, console, pedals...basically everything needed. if anybody wants to trade let me know.
BUT the 4th gear syncro is out, so beware. if you buy you must have that fixed. other than that tranny is fine. let me know. id like for it to be local but i dont mind traveling a little.

I have the tranny and the crossmember. However, the tranny WILL need a rebuild but I'd let it go for $100 plus shipping costs. Both transmission and crossmember - $140 plus shipping

everything is still up for trade.
i didnt mention in the first post that i have a brand new monster stg. 3 clutch and flywheel, with less than 1k miles, a brand new bmr relocation bracket, tick performance mast. cyl. and GM slave cyl. so depending on the deal we can work something out somewhere. pm me if your interested. im ready to do the swap asap.

I'm in Beaufort and I'm wanting to do an M6 swap into my A4...
My car has a built 4L60E and JW Racing 3400 stall. I know you said your M6 has a bad 4th synchro, mine isn't perfect...
The 4L60E and stall both have 5k on them, however as of right now the Auto wont shift at WOT. Any other time, aggressive partial throttle, scooting around town, it's fine. However, when the lines are fully presurized and the trans is supposed to shift, the fluid is pushing through a seal and keeping it from shifting at WOT.
I could put you in contact with the builder, who is in Florida and would rebuild the trans for probably $300. The part it needs is likely very inexpensive, just inside the casing so a rebuild is needed. The trans has billet gears, billet servo, pretty much the works. It was made to withstand a 408 on spray. Over $800 in parts alone in the trans.
