converting the stock rear end to a u joint connection?
Has anyone done this? i cannot find a way to convert our stock rearends to a u joint connection im not going to pay 1000.00 for a drive shaft and the drive shaft shops keep saying these are dealer only items and you can not repair a cts-v drive shaft because there are no parts available..wtf!!

Ebay has one for sale for about 800$
The stock one is not repairable.
I talked to a few drivesaft shops in my area about making a aluminum one for me, but I chickend out and ended up going with a stocker

The ebay one is gone, I actualy went to order it a couple days ago...looking forward to seeing what Gforce has to offer!

THAT IS BAD *** !!! Im so glad someone if making parts for these damn cars now...I sheared off the front snout on my rear end and it took out the drive shaft.All it broke was the cage inside of the cv boot. Now instead of just a 2000.00 rear end I have to buy a 1000.00 drive shaft because in 7 years no one has built anything for these cars... Thanks G-force!!

I just ordered one today from chevrolet for 800 new in the box.But it looks like im going to have 2 drive shafts now.
