i have american thunder flowmaster cat back on right now but i want it to be louder so what do you guys think i should do? im thinking putting on SLP loudmouth cat back for right now and than add headers later

If not... Do the LM.. It sounds good with manifolds and cats but if you go LTs and no cats it sounds like ***.

i was thinking about getting the SLP header package that has the LT's cars and y pipe.

and than buying the LM 1's

They say the SLP headers are better than the older ones, I myself still wouldn't buy them. If you are on a budget do Pacesetter LTs ORY (pacesetter or TSP) and a cutout.

You will hate the LM with LTs..

With cats it won't be so bad. Unless you have to have cats (emission laws) I would suggest in not getting them. I still don't think it would sound very good.

LTs, no cats, and LM1 will be loud as FUH! The rasp will also be retarded. I had LM2 w/ LT's and no cats and the rasp with that was freaking stupid and it's quieter/less raspy than LM1. I know have a Borla XR1 muffler in place of the LM2 and it sounds much better!

Here's the options I would give you.

-LT's of your choice, high flow catted y, LM1/LM2
-LT's of your choice, Off-road X/H pipe, 1 chambers/bullets (true duals)
-LT's of your choice, high flow catted y, GMMG

If you don't mind rasp and you want SUPER loud, get LT's of your choice, ORY, and LM1. It's pretty much straight pipes...

my suggestion would be to get LT's, true duals and do a cam on a low lsa and get that beast choppy. Would sound sick that way, in reality your probably not doing a cam so do LT's, true duals, or if you can afford it Corsa and cut out.
