Default LE1 Results

well guys , went to the track last night, and was a little dissapointed at my et.. but i didnt have time to practice more since mustangs were breakin left and right... here's my timeslip

60' 2.0
330 5.621
1/8 8.6
mph 78.26
1000' 11.309
1/4 13.579
mph 99.14

my shift pts are way too low for my motor, thats why i THINK mt MPH is so low

mods are LE1 H/C 226/230 111 lsa, LT's w/ true duals, 3600 Circle D stall, built 4l60e , SFC, stock 323s, stock suspension, Forged bottom end , mail order tune..

shifts points on the stock tach are 6000 RPM, but my tach is off by around 200 rpm, so its actually 5800-5900 shift pts...

any comments or suggestions are welcome

Not sure whats wrong but when I had my 94z I had the LE1 package and it went a 7.80 at 87mph and I think it had a little more in it. It didnt have a very good stall and the tune was off. You might try to get a dyno tune you may have a valve train problem. When I had mine tuned it had 2colapsed lifters. Just my .02 cent you may have some problems.

The guys that dynoed it knew it should make more power and the tune looked good. They took off the valve covers to adjust them and couldnt get two of the adjusted out. So I went and bought some new lifters and it made 30 more horsepower.

You at high elevation? If not something is really wrong, even if your shifting at only that rpm. Stock motor cars run close to that.

Something is up, that trap is what auto LT1's do stock. Bump the shifts up to about 6400rpm and that will help alot but still something isn't adding up. Even your 60' time is really bad assuming you were running dr's so there is definetly something that needs to be addressed. A setup like yours in good running order should do a low 12. Add a set of gears and some suspension and it will do 11's.

What's your elevation? What was the DA?
