Default Anyone know where to get coils cut?

My other car is a 2003 Crown Vic Sport, and the prevailing opinion in the CV/Marauder crowd is that the best way to lower the front is to cut 3/4 to 1 coil off the front springs to get a 1-1.25" drop. The rear has air suspension so lowering the rear is simply a matter of adjusting them lower. Does anyone know of a shop in the Ventura County (1st preference) or LA area that can cut springs?

Here's the car:

Thanks.

Slip somebody at Pep Boys a 20 to cut them with a grinder, or just find a friend with a grinder and a cutoff wheel.

Find a friend with an air compressor and go buy a cutoff tool from Harbor Freight for 20 bucks.

I agree with finding someone with a grinder and cut off wheel and do em yourself, otherwise best best would be to check any local mom and pop shops.

Do they make lowering springs for a Crown Vic?

Eibach does, but they're generally not well regarded.

Dedicated lowering springs are better than cut coils.

Except in this case, it seems. From what I'm reading, it's almost universally agreed that these cars ride worse on the Eibachs than on cut springs. Otherwise, I would have just bought those already.
