Well, my car is most likely getting a full repaint in about the next month or so and I can't quite seem to decide what would be better. The car will either just be very, very, very BLACK, or it will have a navy blue pearl in it that shows up in light. Which one should I go with?

Just a thought...if you want to do something different, check out a color called Black Magic Pearl (VW paint back ~'04-05). It's black with a gold flake. It looks f-ing awesome in the sun.

Damn! looks pretty unanimous! Thanks for the feedback
Yeah I actually do, and did when I made it. Its just not something I've seen so wanted some opinions on if the blue would look good, which I think it most likely would look amazing
Thanks for the idea but not really a big fan of black and gold except in very rare circumstances. It actually worked pretty well on that Jetta though. I was considering BMW Jerez Black also, which is a black that sort of shifts to a blue or a dark purple depending on how the light hits it, but I get the feeling the cost for it would be through the roof because its got like a million ingredients.

Yup. Colors like that are also a PITA to match if you have to go to a body shop (an idiot hit me when the car was ~three months old). It took the shop three tries to get it right.

Actually......I priced out the Jerez Black at a body shop today in PPG. Its now a candidate because its really not that bad. About a $100 difference between that and regular PPG black on a gallon. As far as matching goes that's exactly why I'm getting a gallon of it for if I change any panels or anything like that later.
