Yes, if you don't beat on it too much.

No, you'll be lucky to get 100 miles if you spray.

Will stock clutch hold 460rwhp/500rwtq?
Long story short, I'm installing Kooks 1 7/8 this week and paired with my HSW 100 shot the number above are gonna be realistic. The car has a stock clutch and flywheel(clutch and pressure plate were replaced about 5k miles ago under warranty). I dont spray much but I am hoping it will last for a couple months. Maybe 2-3 track passes. How long do you think it will last?

1000 bucks is hard to swallow after the money i just dropped on long tubes....i figure i dont spray a lot so it should last a little while. Ill do that before i do a cam this summer if it lasts that long. Should pull good with just long tubes and 100 shot. im hoping to trap in the 118-120 range.

I'm making just over 500 hp and tq at the wheels and it holds pretty well. On the street I have no problems, but at the track with a set of bfg DR's it just barely started to slip on the 2-3 & 3-4 shift. Stock clutch with 64k miles.

I was waiting for you to chime in skull since we have similar setups except you have a little bigger shot. I will be locking out first gear at the strip and obviously no clutch dumps. Just wanted a general idea of what to expect, if it was a stock 50k mile clutch I may be a little worried but like I said it maybe has 5k on it(glad i took it in for the clutch pedal sticking) I would sugeest others do the same, ther is a TSB on it and i printed it out and took it in.

The C5 LS6 clutch (similar design strength characteristics) certainly will in "normal" usage.
Drag racing is an entirely different scenario. I've not tried it with any drag slicks.
As information, the V's stock clutch is also very similar to the LS7 clutch in design strength (except for the solid disc hub) and performance. It also fits the LS7's flywheel but requires a slave spacer when so utilized (a bit like a heavier UUC setup).

If the clutch is anything like the ls2, then you would be best off getting a replacement. Mine went at 35k or so miles (most of it while stock) with just the mods in my sig.
edi : Just looked up on it, the ls6 is better than the ls2 clutch. Don't know what to tell you on that, other than I'd hate to find out the hard way that the clutch wasn't up the the task. Good luck.

Pretty sure both clutches in the CTS-Vs I've had are stock. Both held about 500 rwtq VERY well on the street with aggressive driving. Just know at some point it's going to give out and be ready to minimize downtime.
