LS6 or 6.0 or hold out for LS3
Just swapped a 6.0 into my 68 camaro and now want to put an ls into my 64 nova ss. I can get a ls6 (405hp) for a reasonable price, build a 6.0 for bout same price or save up for ls3, 427 or lsx. Could be a while for one of those.
Got a 5.3 for my 65 chevelle conv. Going to leave that one civilized so the old lady can drive it, hehe. And still sport the 327 flags
What you guy think?

I just got a ls2 for my 1963 impala, and i was thinking about getting a ls3 or building a 427 I guess the only reason for me doing so is bragging and know that i have a bigger motor. i really dont even know what kind of performance this stock 6.0 will have in my car. I been thinking will weight of the make it feel like the 327 and then i been thinking maybe a ls3 will feel better, lol

Lol!.. Lsx would be sweet! I'd probally kill myself! I'd hate to sell the chevelle, old cars are getting harder to find especially a vert. I always liked the 65 chevelles. I got some other things I can sell.

I did a 6.0 first and an L92 short later when they got cheaper. The aluminum blocks are so much lighter! And the bigger bore helps the L92 heads breathe better in case that's what you had in mind.
I've got a different L92 short block for sale in the classifieds pretty cheap.
