Default Tint

This morning I was heading off to school and shut something in my rear lift gate, anyhow, it scratched the tint on my rear window really bad and I was curious to know what I should expect to pay to have it redone. It will be 30% if that matters. Thanks in advance. Ed

Just a guess but it cost around $100 for my whole car 5%, so I'd say anywhere between $40-$60. good luck!

I also paid $100 bucks to have all my windows tinted, but you never know, it will vary from shop to shop. In theory, it shouldn't be more than 60 bucks, but I bet they'll try and bend you over for another hundred.

Ok thanks guys...I have also heard to expect about 150 bucks for a full job around here, which I may end up spending if I can't get the tint to match

They'll charge you to take the old tint off also. A good place will steam it off so as not to hurt your rear defrost lines.

I got my old Camaro tinted 5% all the way around and it only costed me $100.....a week later the tint on the driver side tint got scratched, (not the quaility of the tint that messed it up) took it back and asked him what he could do, he re-tinted it for free. Hell yeah
