Yuuuuuup. Stick some LT's and a ORY on there and then see if it's loud.
As for Borla and LM1 sounding the same...uuuuuuuuhhh???? Are you referring to the loudness aspect, or the sound aspect? Because LM1 and Borla sound nothing alike...
Hell, not even LM2 and Borlamouth sound alike. Lol.

I know it sounds crazy but it's true...if anything it sounds deeper and a little bit more quiet then the Borla...is it also possible that it has to break in and it will get louder? I know that happened with the cat back I bought for my 2001 accord

Deeper, probably, quieter...uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. Lol. Idk man. Lol. LM1 is the LOUDEST catback out there for our cars...
I had LM2 on my car w/ LT's and ORY and it was DEEP cruising around town, then got really rasp, then got really loud as the RPM's continue to rise.

Are you sure you got LM1 and not LM2?
Have you ever seen the LM1 muffler? It is literally just an extruded piece of pipe. There's nothing in there at all. It might as well be straight pipes. You could in no way may this setup louder unless you dumped it right after the headers.
When I had LM1 with stock manifolds and cats i loved it! Then I did LT's and an ORY and I hated it. I mean, it was day and night, my love and hate for these exhaust setups. Then I did a high stall converter and wanted to cry everytime I drove it. I now have a magnaflow catback and I love driving it again.
But that is kind of a highjack. heh.

Yes I kno I have the loudmouth 1...but my question is not getting answered..I kno if I put headers and a ory on it will sound louder...my question is..does it have a break in process where it will get louder?

I'd say no, my headers had a 3 bolt ball flange and y pipe had a 2 bolt straight flange. Other headers have a compresion type flange that clamps on to the exhaust pipes. The stock cats wont fit, but with anything if you want to spend crazy money for nothing you could get the whole thing fabbed up to work.

I've never seen a LT setup that uses the stock cats and/or y-pipe. Shorties will fit, but will gain you a few less HP.
Do you need to keep cats or are you desiring to so that you can reduce rasp?
