Default Rear-end

So I had my rear-end rebuilt after I had a pinion seal leak. This was about January time-frame. It's now April and I had to put the Camaro back in the shop due to new problems in the rear. I kept getting a popping sound when pulling forward or reverse with the steering wheel to the left. A buddy says I need c-clip eliminators but I dunno what it is. What do you think it might be and what do you recommend to do? If it's parts, what name brand do you recommend? I have a 99 Camaro SS with 3.73 gears in the stock differential (i believe it's a 7.5 or 7.625in). I need help, please
