Default Practiced some Airbrushed Flames/Smoke over Brushed Aluminum

I have airbrushed fire before but this was all new to me, I started with a black base, silver metallic and used a paint brush for the effect. I then used some more black for the smoke and airbrushed fire over that.

This time I got alot of dust in my clear so I still need to wet sand but I may just sand it all back off and redo it.

What do you all think? I am not entirely happy with the brushed aluminum this time but its all a learning experience.
There is a little V8 emblem that goes in the middle of it as well, this is for an 02 Explorer 4.6

Thanks man, Its an intake cover off of an 02 Ford Explorer.

Thanks for the compliments guys and I do agree about the smoke and it really needs some rootbeer color in it but sadly I used the only colors I have lol.

real fire look AWESOME on top of smoke! looks great man..how long you been airbrushing?
only thing id say is the curves need to be more acute and random. Do it over and over and over again...you will get it in no time!

Thanks man this would be the 5th time with a total of 9-10 hours of total airbrushing time.

I have learned alot so far and I still have alot to learn but I am still amazed at the really bad flame jobs I have seen on some cars, makes me feel like I am on the right path.
I really admire your work and I need to venture out and buy alot more colors so I can actually airbrush what I can draw. I have always been into drawing but obviously its a whole lot easier drawing a picture than airbrushing it.
I wish I didnt work so much so I can spend more time doing this, it really is a great stress reliever lol.

YOU have talent man...keep practicing and you will be able to cash in on your skill. Just never forget the stress relief, When I started doing body work it was a stress relief and for fun. Now it has a tendency to get me stressed out haha.

But really good work man I am impressed
