Some fun with and F-Bdoy and a Mustang Both were from stoplights. The first was a Z-28, stock as far as I could tell with an exhaust. He pulled up next to me at a light before an on ramp and with no looks, just and undestanding, we both hit it going down the on ramp. We were neck and neck until about 70 and then traffic slowed us down. Thumbs up from the F-body.
Next, I was leaving an Outback Steakhouse parking lot and the mustang was pulling in. I gave a little rev and he answered back. I waited my turn to pull out into traffic and went on my merry way. At the next light the mustang pulls up even with me. Little rev to let me know he was there and when the light turned green and it was on....short run, but again neck and neck. Passenger in the mustang gave me a big a thumbs up and a quick couple of claps.
Both were fun and the LS6 pulls like a muterfcker in 2nd.

Once you get exhaust and cam, or supercharger (whine), people will notice and try you. I am done with street racing unless the car is an exotic that has a cocky driver. On the highway I will run almost anything, unless of course the kid has a fartcan and/or faux side vents.

I work in Birmingham so you may have seen me around...Yes there are a handful of meets. First one is next weekend at Bakers in Milford. Not sure if your on Cadillacforums.com but there are quite a few local guys on there that organize meets. Last year at the Dream Cruise 15 or so of us hooked up. This year will be better!
