Default My Mustang...

Is Broken......

I know it's a sad day for all of us, but I am here to let it be known that it has been down for well over a year now.... So if you could please dry those tears and let me continue I'll let you in on what is holding her down.

At this time I am thinking I may want to get it back on the road. Pretty sure it just needs a new throwout bearing, and I'm also pretty sure Johnathan from G-Force needs to come check it out.

The clutch peddle is almost completly stuck to the floor and when I start the car it litterally sounds like a raptor is trying to claw its way out of a steal box. (coming from the gereral clutch area) I'd pull it out on my own, but no lift no care.

Anyone else who cares to take a guess at what it could be feel free to let me know here___________________________.

sounds like throw out bearing sound wise also may look into a pilot bearing. either way both are not to expensive. unless your input shaft gets trashed..

I was fearing that as well seeing it's the 26 spline shaft.

lol, yeah this isn't the first time she's "twisted up" some driveline parts. The car has ate two trannys and twisted the factory input shaft all without ever seeing a set of slicks.

BUT! I have never been put on the side of the road. I have always been able to drive it home. Once in 4th gear only, but it drove like stock with all the tq it makes. lol!

Lazyness... It's been something I, and many others have taken up since obama took office. It's just easier not to do it.

I've tried to look under without the jack stands just to get an idea, but now I'm wondering about the cable. Might have to jack it up and see. (Though there is no way that cable is making this noise!) lol

Not that much left to replace I fear. I'd be glad if it was a factory part, but I'm pretty sure it's not.

I bought a Mcleod street twin for the TA, I'm sure your car has more options then mine.
