Default painted grill surrounding

still have to do bottom.
i liked the idea of painting the whole grill black(for that murdered look)but still liked the way the mesh grill stood out stock. to me the chrome border was just too much i guess. this is sorta in the middle i guess. lemme know what yall think.

Mine's silver as well, but I do like the contrast there....I'm a fan of "murdered out" all depends on what you do to the wheels, unless you go with a blacked out wheel I'd stick with this...LOOKS GOOD

once u pop out the plastic retainers for the top of the plastic radiator cover, you can remove a few more retainers for the top of the bumper. this will allow you to fit your hand and a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the "mesh border" in place. the screws are tuff to get 2. the top piece on the hood is held in by 5 nuts on the underside of hood. for paint i did 2 coats of flat black then 2 coats clear. wet sand polish reasemble.

some pics of what you'll encounter

sick ride. took your advice and im trying an attempt @ black chrome on the mesh upper and lower. we will see in a few days what comes outa this experiment. im using metalcast smoked from duplicolor.
hood looks sick. i might go 4 the one with vents from spectre works though.

surprised you havent done anything with that orange on the fogs/ddl. i cant wait to tint them or get clear.

Looks great, I think mesh black too with your black chromed wheels soon will look good as well.
