Default Love bugs effin' suck!

I just washed, clay-barred, precleaned, and polished the SS on Monday. I went to Tampa today on a field trip with my daughter (to MOSI). When I got back to Lakeland, there are love bug splatters everywhere on the front and even some on the sides of the car! I hate these things...

Just needed to vent.

Yep. Best Buy and K-Mart, sometimes out by Gold's Gym. I had my silver SS then (R.I.P.). What did you drive?

I believe May and October are notorious for those things, I thought the cold winter might of killed them off. You need to keep on top of cleaning them off whenever you get to your destination. It's something we in Florida have to live with.

it works...but scratches the **** out of your paint....look at your paint with a powerful light after you have passed over it with the dryer sheets.

Anyone ever try Pam cooking spray before a highway drive through bug territory? I heard it works great, they just hose right off after the trip, but you have to hose them off right away after the trip.

I would think the Pam would be hard to get off though......

My step mom did this to my dad's 05 GTO. After the trip, the PAM was everywhere... And I dont think it helped very much with the bugs. If you really want to avoid it, blue tape your car. if not, strip the wax, buff, polish, put a GOOD wax on (3 or 4 coats), and carry some quik detailer or something with you each time you drive.

**** the ******* *******!

I have to drive 60 miles round trip to work! Cleaning it is pointless for me... As soon as I park my car, not only are there the dead ones, hundreds more land on it and start having sex all over it ERRR!

What about Bug & Tar remover? Or SuperClean? I drove to Orlando from WPB this Sunday and they were bad. At times it was like driving through a bug storm.

Only time to ever use a bra or one of those bug nets, then presure off those lil bastards asap!
