Default Need injector advice

I plan on running a H/C 355 in the future. Heads will be heavily ported, 2.02/1.60 valves with 58cc combustion chambers. Cam will be a Comp XE 236/242. What injectors would be the best for that setup? I'm looking at the SVOs right now, any advice is appreciated

I would run the SVO 24 lbs. You will get a ton of advice to go larger. If you do decide to follow that route I would suggest nothing larger than 30 lbs.

i would run the 36# SVO injectors. i have them in my car and once you calculate for the difference in fuel pressure they end up 37.8lb/hr injectors. almost as if i were running 38# injectors. at WOT the most ive used is 70% on my duty cycle. before with my 24# injectors i was hitting 109% duty cycle. just make sure you calculate correctly for the fuel pressure difference as the SVO injectors are flow'd with 38psi and GM LT1 fuel systems run 43.5psi. makes a big difference. beyond that you will be ok with the 36# SVO's. hope this helps.

Multiply your target HP x .07 = suggested injector size.

As far as performance goes, I have always found that the smallest injector that I can get away with works best. Especially in the first sixty feet. I do play with fuel pressure some. I have 24 lb SVO's in Gump @ 50 PSI. The kids stock internals car has 19 lb SVO's @ 43 PSI. Neither is maxed out. The only time that I would see duty cycle being an issue would be if you were running wide open throttle for a long period of time (road racing?).
