The SLP Lid is a good unit as is the Fast Toys. I think either will do you just fine although I ordered the Clear Lid from Fast Toys and didnt like it when I got it in.

doubt youll see a difference between the 2. but the SLP lid is a good quality piece. happy with mines. should be able to find a used airlid in the used classified section for dirt cheap.

I just ordered the SLP lid off WS6store for about $90, not bad. I'll see how the fitment is this Friday after it comes in, but it seems that most members find it to be well made.

I like my fast toys lid. It can give you a little trouble putting it on sometimes since its hard plastic but nothing too bad. And i went to a local diesel shop and bought a 4" pieve of silicont tubing to use for the bellow

I run an SLP purely becuase I like the way it looks over the other lids on the market. Yet again, you wont see a gain from the smooth bellow but it does look nicer. Some have problems with lid fitment after they put a smooth bellow on.

And I quote from the "So you wanna be fast" article on the newbie thread.

"A lid is a lid is a lid, don't ask which is better."

Can't really go wrong with an aftermarket lid as long as it's not stock!

I got the FTP lid simply because it will flow smoothly should I ever decide to upgrade to a 85mm MAF sensor.. and to be different I guess..
