Check out my camaro's shaved bumper
I had the emblem, grill holes, and "camaro" shaved. I'm still uncertain if I like it and am considering painting where the grill used to be gloss black.

Re: Check out my camaro's shaved bumper
Looks great to me. Did you flatten out the point on the nose above/below where the grill used to be? What did you use as a filler, that sticks to the flexible nose?
I want to do something too, but I want to sharpen/lower slightly the edges around where the grill used to be so the new grill (diamond mesh?) is not so overwhelmingly tall, and sticks out from the stock location so it is flush with the nose.

Re: Check out my camaro's shaved bumper
just surround the url with [img] url [/img]
Looks nice, though it seems to be missing something.
Maybe painted would do the trick.

Looks clean, but I like the CAMARO lettering, personally. I think it looks too empty. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Here is another

The body shop used some sort of flexible filler. I'm not sure of the specifics. The bottom part of the bumper still has the transition as GM made it. The body man (richard) did a reall clean job of matching it. He also kept the sharp line where the badge was despite filling it.

Looks shweeeet. To bad Hawaii requires the front plate- if it wasn't a personalized I'd place on the air dam! Nice clean look.

Re: Check out my camaro's shaved bumper
RK sport grille
I have the RK sport grill painted gloss black on the front of my red car and I love it, I wish it didn't say RK sport, but I think it looks better than the WW grille it has more of a curve to it

Re: Check out my camaro's shaved bumper
Looks VERY good.. I did the same for the emblem.. but found that the grill area looked a little plain so I had an SS emblem painted on <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
<img src="http://members.aol.com/steven0932/R6.jpg" alt=" - " />
If California ever gets REAL strict on the front plate thing im thinking of having the area under the Wings west grill filled and shaved.. then having the plate airbrushed on so that it looks like the paint covering it was torn off to reveal the plate.. hard to explain.. Then I could put the WW grill on over it for shows and stuff..
Just an idea.. good work! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
