I'm not looking for candy or chameleon unless its completely different than anything i've ever seen. Who supplies it what line are they carried as where are they and how can i get them?

yup i painted a bike tank with the chrome paint took like 3 days...paint it black, buff the hell out of it..mist the chrome on,let it sit for ever mist it on again let it sit all night, clear it with fast drying clear..wet sand that and clear it with nice stuff..did look like chrome when it was done though

Yeah can't go tangelo good buddy of mine had that color on. 650+ rwhp 99ss and he's painting his ls2 chevelle the same color. Definitely not doing the "real flames" <~~~~ done way to much. Marble is pretty cheesy. I'm looking for like a wild pearl color or I was thinking candy black over a BRIGHT silver base coat with semi gloss black stripes. Or a lambo orange or green with carbon fiber sheets making the stripes.

Just a word of caution... Alsa's chrome paint(along with House of Kolor and others) eventually turns bronze after extended exposure to UV rays.
Look into PPG's Vibrance collection. There are MANY gorgeous and amazing colors in there!
There is technically no such thing as candy black.. only black basecoat added to either intercoat clear, or topcoat clear. But I know what youre talking about doing. That would look pretty tough, but would be a pain to spray/fix, not to mention pricey!

anytime you keep a car out of the sun any paint will last longer
PPG vibrance are very nice pearls..I spray PPG at my shop i like the stuff..but they deffinatly dont have any of the crazy stuff like alsa.. I actually jsut mixed up some Impulse Blue from the pontiac GTO for my car, 2qt's of paint had almost a whole bottle of blue pearl in it..its very pretty i actually painted my intake and valve covers in the color
Why would the chrome paint turn bronze? its just very finely ground aluminum? could be a cheap clear yellowing out making it look bronze maybe??.I know the stuff i painted chrome a few years ago is still chrome looking.
