Question Taking the RS kit off!

Has anyone done this to their fbody camaro? when i fist punchased my 2000 z28 it came with the ugly factory rs body kit ... ive already took off the side skirts, front & rear lips & since the brackets holding them up were drilled in by rivots? there are ugly holes throughout the whole bottom of the car ... what would i have to do to take the spoiler off? any before & after pics? thanks

to remove the spoiler your going to have to remove all the nuts from inside the car for the two side pieces. Also to remove the top piece from the factory wing you also have some nuts to remove, and there will be 3 holes perside where the side pieces were bolted on and there will be holes along top of the factory spoiler as well once you remove the rs wing.

wouldnt be so bad if the wing didnt leave holes in your quaters. I just think the 3pc wing looks funny on the camaro without the entire kit.

To take rear RS spoiler off there are three bolts inside rear quarter panels. But then your left with holes in the rear quarter panel. So then will need repainting. For the center piece ( long piece ) there are three nuts inside the break light area, so you need to unscrew the rear center brake light to get to them. Then you have to pry up spoiler because the 3m double sided tape is holding spoiler down. Then you will have to probably repaint that area. THE EASIER WAY FOR THE CENTER IS TO UNBOLT THE FACTORY CENTER REAR SPOILER. AND THEN REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER FACTORY REAR SPOILER THAT DOESN"T HAVE RS SPOILER. I THINK YOU CAN GET THEM REAL CHEAP. ESPECIALLY AT THE JUNK YARD.

I'm just saying. Bc this is a thought. But seeing how you hate hate hate it so much. Let me buy it from you for the price of shipping? I'd be down for that and you'd make me one hell of a happy camper.

Did you cover all those holes up? is it expensive to get it done throughout the whole car?
