Yank 3600 Flexplate/Cooler size?
Hey guys I just bought a SS 3600 for my 96. I have 2 questions. What is a good flexplate to upgrade to? And what size cooler should I run? I want a trans and oil cooler, so I would need to know what sizes to get without running into fitment problems.

Personally I like a good billet flexplate. Have seen way to many issues with cheap ones. As far as a cooler goes the bigger the better. It seems that an 18000-24000 gvw is the most common for most of you guys. I would take measurements of where you would like to mount it and see what is the biggest cooler you can get to fill that area. Vince

No such thing as too much cooler. Just buy the biggest
one you find local (24K seems to be about it, unless you
went to a RV place).
Dunno about options for a LT1 flexplate, but why do you
think it needs upgraded? There were cracking issues with
later LS1 'plates (so I swapped in a '98). But is there any
real reason besides "billet be better" for this LT1?
