Default how much power and/or rpm have you thrown at your forged eagle crank?

I am about to spray an addition 250 shot of nitrous at my eagle forged crankshaft and I already am making 403rwhp just motor. So how much horsepower(please state rwhp or flywheel hp) and/or rpms have you thrown at your forged eagle crankshaft?

On the eagle forged stuff having the machining double checked is critical. After that they will take a lot of power, but then again so will stock.

Long as your machinist checked and corrected everything the crank should be fine for that.

**** people have broke those on motor only apps even. So to each is own and just be carefull with the crank. Either way if your making 400hp to the tires then expect to make a little over 210hp with the 250shot.

there have been a few problems when people start pushing their cast cranks but as far as their forged cranks go I wouldn't hesitate to throw that much power at it. The number of people successfully running their products, forged or cast, vastly outnumbers the people that have ran into issues. Nobody ever mentions when their crank does what it is supposed to. I personally have never posted on the forum "well...cranks still spinnin'...thanks callies!!" It is kinda like the saying "they've built bidges for 40 years...suck one **** and now they're ***********"

I think you're thinking of the cast cranks from eagle. The forged stuff is generally really strong if the machining is touched up when installed.

Yep their cast cranks are junk, forged ones guys have good luck with. Then again I was just shy of 900 crank HP on the stock crank with no issues at all.

Yeah, I really dont get the point of buying an aftermarket stock stroke crank... The stock ones are plenty tough.

Were I spending money on a crank it would be a stroker.

There are TONS of 1200+rwhp SBCs with forged eagle cranks.

If you had it machined and installed correctly it will easily take what you are throwing at it.
