Default pacesetter header install

hey guys, my pacesetter LT headers and ORY just came in and im installing them with another person this weekend to a magnaflow catback. Does anyone have any tips for me before we start to make the job run smoother? Thanks.

Trim back the nub sticking off the drivers side block just below the head about a 1/8 and the header will slip right in.Pass side goes in no problem.

The last set i did took me 6hrs laying on the ground but if u have a lift it will be less but it was my 3rd time doing them so i got a lot better @ it.

It's easy. Do a search in the external engine section and you will fine a shitload of posts about it.

Get a friend to help.
car does not need to be that high up. Jackstands work fine.
driver side header goes in facing forward and rotates in.
ARP header studs make getting them in hard.

Get ready for LOUD and RASPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have that same set up and I hate it. I'm going tomorrow and having a resonator installed between the y pipe and the muffler to try and fix it.

oh man really? i would have thought the magnaflow keeps that down a bit since i thought it was one of the quieter catbacks out there. guess we'll see tomorrow! thanks a lot for help guys.
