Default XFI 280 cam in a 383 LT1 Pass smog?

Just as the title says. Have any of you guys passed a smog test with this cam?

Our Third Gens are doing it and at 355 cubic inches. This is a California smog test. The 383 will eat up more of the overlap and should be easier than the 355s.

What numbers did you put down? I had the same cam in my IROC's 383 and made around 430 to the wheels.

i'm going to get it dyno this week just put 100miles on it and got some problems worked out..

Wanted to give you a little updAte on the xfi280 cam...well went to the dyno today and only could pull to 5k because major cluch slippage...have a new stage 3 CC clutch with less then 100 miles so he told me to put like 500 to
750 and come back and try again. Got to 378rwh so I see over 400 with a good pull to 6500rpm

Nice! I'm going to have almost the same setup. Except le3 heads and le intake, eBay headers, and a ram HD clutch.

Let me know your numbers when you get them!

Datz what im trying to figure out to i did a LT1 383 swap in my 3rd gen wondering if it would pass smog too ...
