Default Lurked for a while, but C5 z06 here

Hello all. Just wanted to say what's up. I've got a 2002 Electron Blue Z06, soon to break the 100K mile mark, and still running strong! Car is currently at the builder's shop getting H/C/I. Can't wait! Hope to meet some of you guys and just chill and hang out. I've run 12.21 @ 115 on the crappy stock goodyears when I was stock. Lookin to skip straight to the 10's with the new setup. Hoping to hit the 500whp magic mark all motor. Should be getting the car back any day now.

Man, that is my favorite color for that style corvette. Very nice. Just remember to post some vids up when you get the car back from the shop!

thanks everyone!!!

My build up to this point has been pretty smooth and pain free, and I was worried quite frankly, lol. Nothing goes this easily....and you know what....I was right. Getting some false knock up around 5,000 RPM from the exhaust. Tuner was trying to resolve that today but ran out of time, so I couldn't pick up the car tonight

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day and I can pick it up.

Good luck man, let the tuner take his time and it 'll be worth it.

It's home!!!!!!!

Builder/Tuner said he was surprised by the power I put down. After my exhaust knock was resolved (catback was contacting subframe and/or sway bar at high rev) everything else went beautifully.

I don't have the graph in front of me, but from my memory.........

Mustang Dyno: 460 whp / 420 wtq

That's actually kinda surprising me. That's good for a little over 500 or so on a dynojet. My goal was as close to 500 as possible, didn't think I'd get that high though, lol.

I'll get some video as soon as I can, this thing is loud!!! haha

well, it's been long over due, but finally a sample video. (sorry for the clicks in the video, it was taken with my phone, and the cam sucks)

The car has been tuned twice and seems to have really gotten into the sweet spot. No funny idle issues, no more surging, etc....

Much thanks to my build Mike Titterman from MCP Competition Engines for the build and ECS for their sick NA cam.
