What's the need for new calipers? If you are swapping them out I would get they ones off a C5. Basically the same caliper but go through a different build process. Don't think they sell them at Aurozone though.

They are reman calipers

Loaded calipers come with the reman caliper, cheap-*** pads, abutment brackets and guide pins.

no need to buy a loaded caliper. loaded calipers usually come with the bracket, the pads, clips, slide bolts etc etc. you wont need all that, and the prices on those are ridiculous. just buy the caliper, it'll probably be reman. throw on the pads you want, make sure to buy a new set of clips and some grease to lube the slide bolts and you should be fine.

Have you priced the difference in price between loaded and non-loaded?

I have a pair of loaded calipers in my trailer to use as spares. They were under $40 each.

just did a price check online, 193 + core

unloaded calipers are 42 + core and have a lifetime warranty. its cheaper to buy 2 calipers, a set of the best pads we sell, a set of hardware, a tub of grease, can of brake cleaner, a case of beer and have enough money to hit up whataburger when youre done.

Mine actually came from O'Reilly's ... but here they are on-line.

www.rockauto.com

NASTRA Part # 7452425 {Loaded; Set of 2; Reman} Front $87.79 Plus core

Rock Auto and O'Reilly's OTC has always been close to jobber pricing for me. AZ and NAPA go for SMRP.
