Default Houston rain..

This is insane. They were calling for it to taper off but now it looks like it's going to go on well into the weekend.

I'm in the Webster area and it's just been steadily dropping down. Apparently parts of HWY 3 are already flooded. I'm glad I got home when I did.

How's it looking on your part of town?

drove from i10 and gessner east to i10 and wayside at about 3 o clock, it was a very slow drive for me. Good thing me and the vette made it home safely!

every who is gonna head home, drive slow and dont rush, if u see standing water dont try and force it, we dont need a " i flooded my car today" thread

Wife and kids are stuck on I-10 right now. They left Katy about 3 hours ago heading to Louisiana and are only at wayside. TranStar shows it opening up after that point headed East, but who knows...

Katy Update: Steady down pour started this morning and is still going.. Not real heavy.

Be safe to all down in Houston.

Basically just overcast and rain showers some storms here in DFW area past few days and thru the weekend but nothing compared to what you guys are getting of course. Alex basically said screw you Texas as far as weekend plans for the 4th.

The rain gauge is running over at 5 " here in Richmond. That's the last couple days, but still. The dogs love the new "pool" in the backyard.

Not too bad here in la porte. Steady drizzle. Looked good this morning sun was shining. But we went down 225 toward south houston and a lot of hard rain and standing water. Luckily we took the mini van. But I did find out my passenger side in the ta leaks. I have a pool in the floor board. Need to figure that one out asap. Pulled it in the garage.

I moved back to Houston this Thursday. Came from EL Paso to this. It's rained twice this year with probably less than 1" of rain. That's one thing I'll miss among a few other things. I'm staying in LaPorte until my apartment is ready in Webster. It rained it's *** off yesterday. But today has been sprinkles with calm.

It's probably his AC.. Tell him to be sure the drain isn't clogged up.
