Would love your opinions on these wheel pics!
I Photoshoped my car with two sets of wheels: Fikse Anodized FM5s and the Black ZR1s. Please take a look and tell me which ones you like better on my car. There is also a picture of my car stock, before Photoshop. I am considering leaving it stock and just widening the rear wheels.

Thanks!

I like the stock ones better than either of those. Black wheels on a car just doesnt look good at all IMO. Gimmme something that is gonna sparkle!

Re: Would love your opinions on these wheel pics!
Not really set on anything. The idea of only spending $450 to get my stock rear wheels widened is kind of appealing, though... I have noticed that the black wheels look better when the car is lowered, which I'm not planning on doing.
I actually LOVE the Xtreme Motorsoprt Chrome wheels but they only have them in 18" so I couldn't get my Nitto drag radials, so that is out.
Thanks for the input!

Spend the $450 on lowering it and a bottle of tire shine and it'll look much better.
Ick on the black wheels. SOM looks the best IMO with polished wheels of some sort.

Btw, follow the post on 18" drag radials in the Drag Race forum by Todd at DiscountTireDirect. Hopefully not too far off.

I think it would look good with polished lips, and tires that have a little SHINE to them.

Those FM5s are great but $800 a piece - ouch! I can get a whole set of the ZR1s for $1000 - that's only $550 more than having my wheels altered.

Get the polished FM5s, they look sweet on SOM imo.
the GM high tech cover car they are talking about is this one:

Or if you are set on the black idea, get the best of both worlds- Black anodized FM5's

The more and more I look at it, the less I like black on that color too. I am usually the first to say it looks good, but I really don't think it does. I like it especially on red, white and black, but SOM is a unique color, and needs something like a nice polish or chrome to really set it off. Don't waste a nice color man! That is coming from the heart.
Here's a white one, and it looks just right IMO!

Here's what those exact same wheels looked like on his hugger orange Z! Just goes to show you which combinations work, and which ones don't!
