I took my car in Monday and they had fixed the two dents I had by Tuesday morning. They were suppose to start the flames today but they spent 4 hours yesterday trying to get the front WW piece back into shape. It had come slightly out of round from the factory <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . They had it in the paint booth heating it with a torch and shaping it. I got a pic of the one guy finishing it this morning

Its all sanded and ready to go for the flames but they first have to put the primed front piece on then they'll be painting the Pewter over it and the other areas of the car. He's going to have the flames laid out tomorrow morning when I stop in.

I sure will! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I can't wait to see the car when its all done. Only problem is I dont think its going to be done by Friday <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> like first planned.

I just got a set of Eradispeeds put on with the help of some friends and a set of Firehawk wheels the week before <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I told him about how I wanted it and then he's just going to lay it out with how he thinks it will look good. Im going over this morning to check the layout. He's well known in this area and especially for his flames. But I know what colors he's doing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> shhhhhhh....cant tell till its done! Nope...not doing ghost flames. I dont know the exact color names but they're HOK candies. Its going to start out in a orange...yes orange <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> and then blend into magenta and purple!

Sounds wild but it looked pretty darn good when I did a photoshop rendition and held up the color chips to the car.

It should look great in those colors.. people underestimate how well pewter responds to bright colors (makes a good base color)..

Tangerine will go over the orange base (Nova Orange)a magenta over the blue base and blue-purple over the white! The flames will be outlined in orange and then have a drop shadow!

Thanks for the compliments. Well since we can only take a pic of the car in the paint booth with the car all taped up and not so good lighting I'm going to hold off on posting pics till I pick up the car tomorrow and get some nice shots in the sun <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I gotta say that the car looked totally awesome today!! He had all the tape off from around the hood so you could really see how its going to look. He's clear coating it today and tomorrow.

Only one problem...somehow he never heard me tell him it was a 5-piece kit and he never saw the two rear pieces in the hatch which is now sealed/taped <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> He cant get it done because he's leaving for vacation so I'll have to take the car back another day. Oh well...
