hook a gauge up to it and see what the fuel pressure is doing, also since its a swap, what is it from, what is it swapped into and what kind of fuel system are you running?

mine is kind of doing the same thing but it dosent run rough, just if i drive it somewhere and then let it sit for 30min or so(havnt really timed it) it dosent want to start up right away and just keep turning over and then finally starting or ill let go of the key and then try again and it fires right up like it normally did.

I'm assuming no codes? Make sure you have your ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor plugged in. If it is try to get a scanner on it and see if it's pegged -40 (I think that's the max point).
If you have an issue with the sensor, you'll crank long and run rough b/c the computer thinks it needs to dump fuel...

Next time you go to start your car, just turn the key on 5 or 6 times. Don't actually attempt to start the car here, just turn the car on to let the fuel pump prime to the fuel rail 5 or 6 times. Then, try to start the car. If it fires right up then your issue is more than likely a weakening fuel pump.

well i went out and started it after letting it sit all night and most of the day til afternoon and it fired right up like normal and then i drove to my grandparents and bout 3hrs when i went to leave it hesitated alittle bit but still fired right up, not taking as long as it did the other day.

ok sry don't mean to jack your thread but lately ive been trying what you told me to do with turning the key on and off about 3-or so times before trying to turn the motor over, and when ive been doing that the car fires right up like it is supposed to do, instead of having trouble trying to start, would this be fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, or something else, also where is the fuel filter on a 98 ls1 camaro?
