Default help help help!!! F#%cking pissed!!!

Just got my car all back together motor and all... i replaced my steering rack at the sametime (ebay) but now my steering shaft wont go back on its hitting my headers bad!!! everything fit fine before... No i dont have my old steering rack to compair them... this is the link to the one i ordered can someone tell me if its the wrong one or something

Anyone???? there is a number on it right above the top little line 26070366 does anyone have a rack they can look at for me??? this is really pissing me off

i remember a thread not too long ago where someone had the v6 model steering shaft that is angled differently and was keeping him from getting his pacesetter LT on the driver side. this could be your problem.

must be the wrong rack.... rule #1, always compare old part to new part before installing... Unless you had to send it back as a core.

Rule #1 is correct, especially with rebuilt items. And of course, compare before you return the core. Contact rebuilder with case #, they should be able to help you out.

Thank you guys so much for your help i am sure i have a v-6 rack now... I have a used ls1 on order now, hopefully i can get my money back for this v-6 one.
