Default first encounter with the po po

Well got pulled over for the first time in the ta today. Only 55 in a 45 but the bad thing is due to a late payment my insurance was cancelled. So no speeding ticket just no insurance. Gotta go pay that bill on payday lol

That sucks. But you should have insurance or not be on the road. No excuses.

Get insurance ASAP and take it to the judge and show that you're responsible enough to get it taken care of as soon as you could, just that pending circumstances required you to drive (going to work, school etc.)

A no insurance ticket is far worse than a speeding ticket.

Definately. Although most judges will dismiss it if you can provide proof of insurance.

If you don't have enough money for insurance, how else are you supposed to get enough money without driving a car?

Drive the car, but don't be stupid. Obey all traffic laws until you can get insurance as to not attract attention (e.g. no speeding, etc.).

Hey, you guys are lucky over there. If you don't have insurance in Tennessee at the time you were pulled over you WILL lose your license unless you provide proof that you were insured at the time. It has become an epidemic here that people would get into accidents and not be insured.

Yeah it will get dropped I have the insurance card all I gotta do is make my late payment. I thought they were going to tow it but he was a seargent and was very relaxed and easy going. I was actually joking with him about it. My wife drove up with the card but she was too late.
