Default And....first time at the track ever

I made 14 passes tonight and my first one ever ended up being the best of the night. Kinda disapointing that I was trying for 4 hours to beat my FIRST EVER PASS
Anyway,my first pass was...

60'...2.092
1/8...8.580
mph...85.32
1000...11.082
1/4...13.197
mph...106.93

besides that I had...
6 passes at 13.2s
3 passes at 13.3s
1 at 13.4s
and 3 that I spun so bad that I gave up.
Even though I was trying to chase down that first time all night im happy with it being my first time and all

DA was 2265 so the correction by the DA calculator says...

Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.848 @ 109.904 MPH

Nice time, i'm sure you can get some 12.9s with some tires.

Mid low 12s with a stall.

Any weight reduction?

Holy heatsoak batman! Lol, 14 passes in one night is no joke.

At least now you have a good baseline. Are you planning on any future mods, then returning to the track to compare?

Its a full weight car minus spare tire and jack. But I think the backpack I had in my car put the weight up with as if I did have it with all the **** in it

Really? I was shutting my car down for maybe 20-30min after 3 runs. Is that why I couldnt get a good time after my first? Idk but seems like the tracktion was good the first time and it just got worse throughout the night.
Yes,Im thinking about just drs and taking the back seats out to compair

Nice times for your first time ever to the strip!

A good drag radial will get you 12's, if not VERY close, in the same weather. Drag radials and cooler fall air will put you well into the 12's. After that I'd go with a stall and you'll probably be hitting mid to low 12's depending on the conditions.

Nice kill on the 5th gen. Did you get any other good races?

Thanks man I am happy with a 13.1
Im gonna get 2 wheels, drs, for the rear and change them out when I get to the track. But im gonna have to chain the other wheels to somethin while im racing cause no trailor I might just wait till it gets cooler out to go again.
One of the staging guys pointed at me 5 cars back to pull up against the 5th gen cause they wanted to see that race. I though I was gonna get my *** handed to me but whatever. So I pulled up and I took him the whole lenth of the track. I was shocked. I though that it had to be the l99 auto but later on I pulled up next to him to talk. It was the 6 spd ls3.

Best race was the last one against I believe a 94-98 mustang body style. His 60' kicked my *** at 2.065 to my 2.145 but I ran his *** down His 1/4 was 13.484 and mine 13.247. I love it

Only cars that made me look bad was 2 vettes and a brand new m3. One vette had nos and thats one of the runs where I spun out so bad I gave up. The other vette was a brand new one with an old snobby man drivin. (I hate those guys!) The other one I had to give up was the m3. He did a 13.1 which my best was also 13.1 so I would have loved to see that ****** again

My favs were the mustang and 2 wrxs that I blew the doors off! What do you think of my redneck camaro now ricer boys?!

Very happy with my first time

Congrats on the times . M/T streets are great for the track . Not so good for heavy rain . Definetly look into a stall converter and d/r's. It will knock a big chunk off of your et .

The ET street is great. If it were me I would not get the radial. You should be able to make it work well but the bias is a guarantee.
