Default Finally got some 1/4 Times for my setup!

After my doctors appointment in Aurora today, I slipped over to Bandi for the CSP Take it to the Track night. I am not 100% please with the results however I am happy with the car! Here is how it went!

Bandimere Speedway D/A at time of 3rd run was 8210ft!

1st Run (spun hard)

R/T----.353
60'----2.449
330---6.077
1/8---8.953
MPH---85.82
1000-11.418
1/4---13.486
MPH--109.37

2nd Run (Spun, tried to feather throttle and bogged)

R/T----.421
60'----2.369
330---6.049
1/8----8.948
MPH---85.37
1000-11.426
1/4---13.501
MPH--109.22

3rd Run (better but still spun a little)

R/T----.286
60'----2.182
330---5.719
1/8---8.594
MPH--85.63
1000-11.068
1/4--13.144
MPH--108.83

I will be back at the track at 4pm on Friday, probably with slicks, to try this again and try for 12's!

you definitely need some tire. Your sixty foot should be in the 1.7 or lower range.

So what would your times translate to at sea level?

I am not sure the exact math but from what I have gathered, you can knock off at least a full second if not more depending on DA, etc...

Educate yourself on his geographical location, or you can read more thoroughly:

Better yet, take your car up there and see how well it does.

Every time I see guys post from high elevation I just can't imagine. I have spent my whole life racing at sea level. Except for the heat and humidity, I guess we are pretty spoiled around here. If I ever do move to high elevation, I think a turbo charger would be a must for me.

You can feel a night and day difference once you drive away from the mountains. I can't count the times I vapor locked my old '85 Camaro going up I-70 after Morrison.

I'm hoping that sig is a joke... 15.5 and you are talking **** to a guy running in ~8500ft elevation? A lot of Hondas around here would butt hurt you at 15.5.... some even bone stock lol

The calculator on Dragtimes.com is showing a 12.0 pass. Pretty good considering the 60'.

Imagine if he got the 60's down to 1.7 or better.

Sounds like shes performing pretty well

"calculator" aka "bench racing"

car is as fast as it runs at track on a given day. the DA in the OP's run....will make any car slower than running the same car at a lower DA.

I am excited to get it to the track with slicks tomorrow! I have my loan approved for my new rear end so that will be installed at the latest by the end of August with LCA Relos and 4.10's! I can't wait!

Those 60 foots were about as high as your elevation

Just busting your chops good luck tomorrow. Those slicks should definitely put you in the 12s.

yeah yeah yeah...everyone make fun of the bad 60' lol. I got it. I knew the 60' sucked when I saw it...but when I saw that even with a 2.1 60', I STILL pulled off a 13.1...and then when I saw that the DA was 8210'.......I was pretty stoked.
