If you want I have a like new timing chain kit that came off of a heads cam car. THe chain kit has very low miles. Pm me if you want it. I will sell it to you cheaper than you can get one for new. Its literally like new still

Hey:

It is probably cheaper to buy an CSR electric water pump, and a STD Cloyes chevy single/double roller timing chain set, and Plug/weld the WP hole up, than it is to buy that set.

Choices depend on what opti and water pump you are using. You don't give any info.

You have a billion choices.

-Stock non-vented opti with stock timing set. This is the least expensive easiest option, not to mention your only option without converting to a vented optispark.

-Stock non-vented opti, stock timing set, electric water pump.

-Convert to a vented opti, run a Cloyes double roller, and an electric water pump. This requires the most work, but will provide the most substantial gains.

PS - none of your options should include an MSD optispark.

Go with the AC Delco opti. You answered your own question. Just ask them.

Only if the OP chooses to upgrade to a vented optispark setup. He has an unvented opti. At the same time, it would actually be cheaper to pick up an electric water pump and run a Cloyes double roller if he DOES choose to upgrade to a vented opti.

No need to change the cap and rotor on the AC Delco.
