Default Wheels done!!!

After 1.5 years off and on I finally have my speedline wheels widened, smoothed and coated! They were widened on the outside of the wheel as opposed to the inside. Took me about 4 hours per wheel just to smooth out the wheel prior to powder coating. Went with a semi gloss black and can't wait to have tires mounted and thrown on the car. Let me know what you fellas think

Blasted the clear off and filled the welding bead

Smoothed filler

I'll be honest, when you said you were getting them powdercoated in a semi gloss black my first though was "meh" (at best), but after seeing them, those wheels are sexy as hell. Good job!

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. The place that widened them charged me $400.00 for the pair. The other places I contacted would only widen them on the inner portion of the wheel which would require you to run a spacer. Plus I wanted the deep dish look and yes these are 11" wide now. Since I do powder coating for a living I see what high gloss black wheels look like and they tend to outshine the rest of the vehicle. This is why I opted for a semi gloss black.
