Default anyone running kumho ecsta tires?

just picked up a set off my insurance company & was wondering how ppl like them. i should of checked this out b4 i bought them lol ohh well. how do they hold up if ur running them @ the track & or street. how many psi are u running

i have khumo ecsta somethings, 245/50 16, they arent that bad when its dry...when its wet, dont even think about it. i was going around a curve on the way home from work, 3rd gear about 20mph boggin the hell out of my car, berely get on the gas and the back breaks loose...

I have had them for a while. Good when it's dry and okay when it's wet. Mine's not a daily driver and they were cheaper than some others. Sounds like you got a good deal on them if you got them from an insurance company.

I'm running ecstas (285/35r17's) all around and they run good for stockish power, true about the wet though, except this one time on I-40 going east past OKC during a snowstorm, surprisingly good. I've only had them a year, rotated them once, and I need to get some new ones soon, but then again I drive hard...

Oh yeah 38 PSI, but not that it matters that much on stock suspension...

No grip at all at the track. I'm running 275/35/18's and they are ok on the street with normal driving.

There are 3-4 different Ecsta tires for passenger cars. Most of this information is useless without more detail.

the ones i got are the closet you can get to a drag radial if that helps. its there super sport model i suppose u could say
there the XS series ku36 i believe. ill have to stop @the bodyshop & look 2nite thats where my car has been for the last 5weeks. not my favorite subject right now
