Default need some advice

okay i replaced the coil in my car and the misfire in the engine is corrected so problem one DONE .... we drove it and it still falls flat on its face so we tested fuel pressure and when the key is in the "on" position and the pump is priming i got 40lbs of pressure ... when you turn the car on it goes from 40lbs to 27lbs so my pump is gone and or going .. im going to replace it but i wanna know whats a good brand to go with for a pump should i go back to stock or should i go to a upgraded one which is what i prefer even though im not all super power i wanna upgrade so i dont have to do it later so can someone suggest what kind to put in or what kind you got and your luck with it

It doesnt need 13.5 volts however, running a bigger power cable IE racetronix harness will decrease the voltage drop and allow the pump to move more fuel/maintain pressure in higher horsepower setups. (its a sound performance mod that's along the same lines as the "boostapump inverters that increase line voltage to pump)

If your car is still stockish there are lower capacity walbros. Ensure you buy your pump from a reputable dealer since there are counterfeit walbros out and about (often found on Fleabay)

W/O the harness the pump will take a performance hit. How much of a hit and how reliable it will be depends on the condition of your factory wiring. The harness is cheap insurance even if you don't need the extra fuel pump performance it provides.
