That's a decent price, but I'd save my money and get a Predator. I have one for my 03 Silverado & 01 SS and I love them both. Word of advice: If you are going to invest in a Predator in the future, look on Ebay, I found both of mine brand new for $300 a piece shipped!!! It might take a couple weeks to find a great deal, but it is worth it. I would never have bought them if I had to pay full price!!! Hope this helps, If have any questions in future just ask!!!

you can sell it for about $150 if you don't want it.

for $50 i would buy it, and set your fan temps lower, that would be worth the $50 myself. as these cars will fluxuate from 190-228 while driving, with the AC off.

Watch out with Predator because your VIN is married to it and can't resell it if you later get LS1Edit tuning. By the way, I agree with slow, buy it and sell it for a profit.

If you want to change stuff they are worh it. Like rev limiter, shift points shift firmness Speedo for gear changes and for a lower therm. and fan settings then yes. If you want it for tunning for more power then look else where. You could sell it for 125 in 5 min. 150-175 all day long on e-bay-so go for it. If it was for a 98 i would give you $125 for it now.

MAKE SURE HE DE-PROGRAMMED IT BFORE YOU BUY IT!!!!!!! Or it is useless to you. If you dont plan on getting into the motor, then yes, its worth it, but if you do, go with the preditor or LS1 Edit!

I bought my HPP3 used and save over $150.00 for a new. I use the HPP3, cuz I am not a tune wizard and don't have enough mods for a LS1 edit tune.I for myself noticed a difference after programming my Hawk with the HPP3. If your a newbie like myself and do not have a butt load of mods, I say go for the Hpp3. But be sure you have the right one for your car and that he/she programs it back to stock.
Good luck

What he probably means is make sure the Hypertech has been reverted back to stock on the previous owners car.
