SS with Berger Stripes? Black SS's if you got 'em. I've seen a few cars with Berger stripes and really like them. I would like to do red but is that too loud? I'm thinking silver stripes on my black car might look a little more classy. I'm guessing they are decals. Any problems with this? Hard to wax, edges rolling up, tearing, paint faded after removal, etc.... Thanks guys. Oh, pics please!

What kind of rims are those, sizes? I'm assuming that is an original Berger. Are those decals or painted stripes? Thanks guys! BTW, that grill is BADA$$.

Re: SS with Berger Stripes? Black SS's if you got 'em. For the stripes, keeping them straight is up to the installer, takes time and patience to get them on and bubble free.
The stripes on a base Berger are vinyl decals. Custom painted Bergers such as my Electron Blue beast are painted on and buried under the clear coat.
As for pealing, if they are installed properly and cared for they will last for many years, it is very important to remove ALL wax prior to installing decals!
Ideally I'd say painted on are your best looking, but vinyl certainly does look good, and give you flexablity to change if you want something different.
The pics are of a 2001 Berger SS, the wheels are from Mallot (the Corvette Customiser). Berger ordered the 17" x 9" wheels and had them custom chrome plated.
The grille is the black Stull Grille, you can get the grille from After Thoughts Auto. >>>>>>>

You happen to know how much work (if any) was done w/ the wheel to make it sit right? Would be SSweet to get some SS centercaps put on there too. Nice lookin car, not my top choice of color scheme's but nice none-the-less
Silver or White is what i'd go with, personally. Looks SO much better. Besides, the Black w/ white stripes just looks nostalgic, back to the RS/SS cars back in the 60s...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lol

I think some people get theirs painted on, but that is very expensive vs vinyl. Also vinyl will come off if you don't like it or get tired of it. Here is my car after the vinyl install... web page

And those are some badass wheels w/ the SS caps. A guy in Vette had an Aztec Gold w/ black powdercoated 396 (those rims) Z06. Must say, that thing was SWWEEEEEETTTTTTTTT

Re: SS with Berger Stripes? Black SS's if you got 'em. Don't know what sizes are available, I do know on the '01 Berger SS the Mallet's are 17 x 9.5 front and rear. Thats exactly what my arctic white Berger has and I love 'em!!
